Alcohol Content of a Ferment
determined by density
Calculates the %abv of a ferment from a value measured with a density meter before fermentation and a value during or after fermentation.

The calculation is based on a very simple formula, which, however, has gained recognition through practice.
The initial measurement can also be made with a refractometer, but not the measurement during or after fermentation. During and after fermentation a refractometer will show a much higher value.
